A very recommendable restaurant. We ate very well here several times. The staff was always very friendly and attentive.

We ate here twice on our short break. The restaurant is rustic and very cozy. I found the food very tasty both times. Wild boar roasted pink with napkin dumplings. Top. And the service, young, fast, friendly, happy. Thank you very much!

The quality of the food we got was good. The service was very friendly and quick. Only 3 stars because at 7:00 p.m. 4 main courses had already been crossed off the menu, that was almost the entire menu. The fact that something is left out shows that you are working with fresh ingredients (positive), but nothing left at 7 p.m. is not well planned.

Unfortunately, Essen was largely warmed up industrial goods. That means because it contains dyes, sulfurized and flavor enhancers. Wine ordered by card later costs € 8.50 more because it is simply served as another wine, according to the waiter. One still notices owners very much of the past. Disrespectful and not service oriented behavior. No trace of warmth, rather arrogance. Overpriced prices for food - quality. Once is enough.

Solid. Large portions, freshly prepared, quality good. Perhaps the final, contemporary flair is missing when it comes to the use of herbs and flavors. It's a bit gloomy in the restaurant, so the mood isn't really right. The boss's demeanor is a little unusual because it is too demonstrative and loud. His staff does a good job, you don't have to praise yourself.

Wanted to stop there about 3 weeks ago on Friday or Saturday at noon. Unfortunately it was only opened at 5 p.m. For us completely incomprehensible, since the weather was good. Why miss out on business when there is already an outdoor terrace with plenty of space? The opening times in some restaurants here are not understandable.

A hotel in a very good location on Hiddensee in Vitte. From there, the port as well as the stand and the lagoon are easy to reach. A well-groomed ambience and tasty dishes await the guest. Outside you can enjoy the vacation time in good weather and let some relaxing days end. The hotel is easily accessible from the harbor on foot, by electric island bus or by horse and cart. Trolleys are available for luggage to illuminate the transport.

Friendly staff, nice food

The boss is sympathetic, the service fast and attentive, but unfortunately the cod with fried potatoes and cucumber salad would not have won a prize with us. (3 people at the table ordered this dish) The food tasted boring, the fried potatoes were prepared carelessly (was the frozen product?) And the fish didn't taste good either. But my husband's meal of gratinated cod was very digestible.

From the outside it does not seem inviting, but from the inside very comfortable, friendly staff, very clean, food delicious

We really wanted to take a break in November. Thanks to nonexistent cars, Hiddensee is a wonderful place to relax in peace. From friends I got the tip "Godewind" We had a cozy apartment right next to the hotel. Nice half-timbered houses and good furnishings. PLUS FIREPLACE! All employees are nice and helpful. The food was delicious and creative every day. One STAR less, we forgive, because breakfast is a little loveless. The room is dark and uncomfortable. It wasn't bad now, but there is room for improvement, also with the product selection. We would like to recommend the Godewind anyway! Gladly again.

The fish was delicious, the service courteous and friendly. The prices are a bit higher but the atmosphere with the guitar player incomparable! The dessert tasted but in my opinion something onion and garlic, maybe it was in the wrong fridge. Nevertheless, a visit to Godewind is recommended!

Best food and service on Hiddensee. The owner connects with the guests so you will feel very welcomed. Big servings for a still reasonable price.
